30 Weeks

I'm officially 30 weeks pregnant!
You know it's bad when people start thinking you're past your due date and you still have two more months.. haha Twin Pregnancy Problems, am I right?

It's getting harder and harder to move around and I can tell they're getting pretty big! I feel like they're running out of room in there! It's crazy to think I'm already almost done with this pregnancy though. I can't believe how fast it's gone by.

We can't wait to meet our little boys!

Food Trucks and Birthing Class

These past few weeks have been getting more and more difficult for me. This whole twin pregnancy thing is definitely starting to take its toll on my body. I'm getting so big that most of the time I'm uncomfortable, and doing simple tasks feels like running a marathon. Braxton has been so sweet to me through everything though and I definitely appreciate him doing all the housework and running all the errands for me on the days when all I want to do is lay in bed. Although it's been rough, the good definitely outweighs the bad. We are able to feel the babies kick so much more and I absolutely love sitting still and feeling them move around inside of me. My favorite part is that it's gotten to the point where now most of the time I can tell which one is moving and we're starting to figure out their personalities a little more. One of the babies is super active and takes up most of my belly while the other one is more relaxed and stays in his little corner most of the time. I just can't wait to meet them!

On the days when I have a little more energy Braxton and I like to go for walks or grab a bite to eat to get out of the house and enjoy the Summer days a little more.

Last week we discovered that there are a couple little food trucks around Logan and we decided to make "Food Truck Friday" a thing. And what better way to start it off then with some delicious Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwiches?

These sandwiches were amazing and we can't wait to go back! I love going on dates with my cute husband and I'm so thankful he has an amazing work schedule that allows him to be off work every day at 1:00 so we can spend the rest of the day together. I'm going to miss that when he goes back to school in the fall.

Saturday Braxton and I spent the day at a child birth class trying to get as informed as possible about all things baby! They went over pregnancy, delivery, and newborn care and I think we both came away with a lot more knowledge for what we're getting ourselves into. My favorite part was the tour of the hospital at the end. It was really good to get an idea of where we need to go when it's time to get these babies out of me and have an idea of what the process is going to be like. Since this is my first time going through any of this I'll admit it's a little scary and the class definitely relieved some of that anxiety for me.

And then on Wednesday we got to have another ultrasound and see how much the boys have grown. Ultrasound days are like holidays around here for me. I love getting to see their little silhouettes moving around inside me and watch them interacting with each other. This time was awesome because we actually got to see both of their faces up close! It made me so happy to see all their little facial features, I could not stop smiling for about an hour straight after the ultrasound.

Both boys are healthy and right on track with their growth! They each weigh 2 lbs 9 oz right now which is awesome for 29 weeks! There are so many complications with twin pregnancies and I am so blessed that I have had a smooth pregnancy with no real issues. Only a little bit longer and these babies will be here! I can't wait!
