Michigan Vacation!

This past week we had the amazing opportunity to fly out to Michigan and visit my family! My parents flew Braxton, Tyler, and me out from Utah for a week of family time. We were so thankful to have a chance to see everyone before we have the babies and we had an absolute blast!
I'm also very glad we came out when we did, because any later in my pregnancy and I wouldn't have been able to go. I'm getting so big that I get uncomfortable really easily now and enduring the day of travel coming to and from Michigan wouldn't have been possible if we would have gone any later.

My parents were so sweet with us the entire time we were there and they had fun activities planned for us almost every day. One of my favorite things we did was when we drove to Lake Michigan and spent the day at Grand Haven. Since the water was still pretty cold there was hardly anyone there and we basically had the entire beach to ourselves. We sat and visited for a while with our feet in the sand and played games on the beach and it was a perfect day.

My brothers are so goofy and it was great for Braxton to be able to get to know them a little better and for them to get to know him better as well. This is the first time we've seen them since the wedding and it was really fun to catch up and hear about everything going on in their lives right now.

And of course, you can't go to Grand Haven without getting one of their famous Pronto Pups!

By far my favorite day of the trip was when we drove to Chicago and I was able to receive my endowments in the Chicago temple. That was the main reason we flew out, and It was so great to be able to do it with all my family there.

The Donovans even drove up from Missouri to be there for it and it was so great to have them there as well. They're like my second family and I'm so grateful to have them in my life!

This was such a special day for me and a huge step for Braxton and I so that we can be sealed to each other on our anniversary in August. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life and for the strength and comfort that it gives to me. I'm a mormon and I know it, I live it, and I love it!

One of the days my dad took Tyler and Braxton golfing while the younger boys were in school. They all wore Hawaiian shirts and Braxton had so much fun goofing off on the golf course with them. I'm glad they were able to have a guys day and while they were off doing that, me and my mom went to a baby shower that mom and a family friend Becky threw for me. All my friends from church and school were there and I loved getting to see them and show off my belly since this was the first time any of them had seen me pregnant! Molly even drove the two hours from Ann Arbor to be there. Everyone was so generous with their baby gifts and we got a lot of adorable outfits that I can't wait to put on the boys when they get here! I am so thankful for such amazing friends.

And of course being the huge picture person that I am, I had to get some pictures with everyone before we left!

It was such a fun trip and we can't wait to come back with the twins sometime soon!
Until next time Michigan!

Happy Mother's Day!

 Happy Mother's Day!
The boys are wishing me a happy mother's day with lots and lots of kicks!

Braxton was so sweet to me today, and even though the babies haven't been born yet, he treated me like a queen for Mother's day. He made me a delicious breakfast with all my favorite foods, got me flowers and the sweetest card, and bought little baby outfits for the twins. (He knows the way to my heart is through cute baby clothes!) I'm so lucky to be married to such a thoughtful and loving husband.

After church we drove down to Kaysville and celebrated the holiday with Braxton's family. His grandparents and his Aunt Stacy and her daughters came over to Braxton's parents house and we spent the day visiting and eating good food. The best part was that we got to Skype Braxton's brother Jaden, who is on a mission in Jacksonville, Florida right now. It was so great to see his face and talk to him and he sounds like he is absolutely loving his mission! I'm so proud of him and I can't wait for the boys to meet their Uncle Jaden when he comes home in a little over a year!

It was a great day!
