Halloweekend

Happy Halloween from the cutest Thing 1 and Thing 2 I have ever seen! We had such a fun weekend with Braxton's family enjoying all the festivities that go along with Halloween. We drove down Saturday and spent the day visiting with Braxton's parents and taking advantage of the free babysitters by running a couple errands. That night Braxton's sister Jessica and her family came over and we had a super yummy halloween dinner (soup and breadsticks, duh) and then Jessica and Russell wanted to take their son Tristan trick-or-treating. We decided we wanted to go too so we bundled the boys up in the double stroller and walked around with them and it was so fun! I can't wait until next year when the boys are Tristan's age and can run around together and actually get excited about it! Oh how I love the holidays! I decided holiday's are a million times better when you have kids. Basically kids just make everything better. We decided to stick around and spent the night and hung out all day Sunday with them too. Talk about a fun weekend! I did NOT want to go home Sunday night and enter back into the real world. Sometimes it's just so nice to take a break and not have to worry about housework and the long list of things you should be doing. It was a much needed mini vacation.

And aren't they just the CUTEST in those hats Jessica made for them?! I'm pretty lucky to have such a talented sister-in-law! And I just can't get enough of those squishy cheeks of theirs!

Hope all of you had a wonderful Halloweekend!

  1. Jonah and I were Thing 1 and Thing 2 for Halloween, too. Your boys were WAY cuter of course. Haha!! I want to come see you and hold your boys SO bad!! Hopefully I'll make it up there someday.
